Scientific Officer- Physics	Dept. Name:- Home Department, Govt. of MP Type of post:- Permanent Pay Scale:- Level 12; 56100-177500 Educational Eligibility:- MSc second class in Physics/Computer science/Master of application/Forensic science(with specialization in Forensic physics or Forensic ballistics) and should have physics & chemistry as a subject in BSc. Experience:- 2yrs experience in scientific research work in any research institute/college/university laboratory recognized by UGC. Duties of post:- analytical work of the pieces of evidence received from various criminal cases & preparation of reports of the cases tested & other tasks assigned by the officers from time to time.
Scientific Officer- Chemistry	Dept. Name:- Home Department, Govt. of MP Type of post:- Permanent Pay Scale:- Level 12; 56100-177500 Educational Eligibility:- MSc second class in Chemistry/Forensic science(with specialization in Forensic Chemistry or Forensic toxicology) Experience:- 2yrs experience in scientific research work in any research institute/college/university laboratory recognized by UGC. Duties of post:- analytical work of the evidence received from various criminal cases & preparation of reports of the cases tested & other tasks assigned by the officers from time to time.
Scientific Officer- Biology	Dept. Name:- Home Department, Govt. of MP Type of post:- Permanent Pay Scale:- Level 12; 56100-177500 Educational Eligibility:- MSc second class in Botany/Zoology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics/Forensic science(with specialization in Forensic Biology or Forensic Serology) and should have Botany, zoology & chemistry as a subject in BSc. Experience:- 2yrs experience in scientific research work in any research institute/college/university laboratory recognized by UGC. Duties of post:- analytical work of the evidence received from various criminal cases & preparation of reports of the cases tested & other tasks assigned by the officers from time to time.
Selection Procedure:- o   Selection will be on the basis of the interview.  On the basis of the merit of the marks obtained in the officer's examination, 5 times the number of advertised posts for each of the categories/sub-categories, the candidates will be invited for the interview.  Provided that eligible candidates are available.  o   Final selection list will be declared on the basis of the merit of marks obtained in the interview.  The marks for the interview will be 100.  o   The minimum pass marks will be 41% for the unreserved and EWS and 31% for the SC, ST and OBC, and Pwd category of indigenous people of Madhya Pradesh.  o   Objective based written test will be conducted if necessary. o   On the basis of the merit of the marks obtained in the written examination, candidates securing 3 times and equal marks of the advertised posts for different categories/sub-categories will be called for interview.  o   The final selection will be made on the basis of merit and merit of the marks obtained in the written test and interview.  o   In the case of a written test there will be no minimum pass marks for the interview.

Important Points:- o   Candidate should have live registration with the employment office of the state of Madhya Pradesh. o   After filling the online application form & paying the fee, check the payment details mentioned in the online application received & ensure that the fees have been paid. Also,   check that all the entries are correct. In case of error, rectify the error within the prescribed period. Put your signature in the space prescribed in the application form. Attach self-attested copies of all your records with the above signed online application form along with one copy of each of the attestation sheets, personal statement & attendance sheet. Keep the remaining copies of the letters with you as they will have to be produced along with your original records at the time of your interview. o  After making the details(available in the advt. notification) on a big envelope, the above set of the application forms & all the records will be sent to the commission by registered post or speed post by placing all the records in this envelope.
