LEGAL CASES- Civil Case v/s Criminal Case

A case is a civil or criminal proceeding at law or in equity. Depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the dispute, it may also be referred to as an action, suit, or controversy.

A civil case typically involves two equal parties, such as a case between two citizens or a case between a citizen and a corporation.

In a criminal case, two parties with different statuses are typically involved; one party (the prosecutor) represents the State, while the other party (the defendant) is typically an individual or a corporation.

Whatever the case is, a Forensic investigator plays a major role in both of the scenarios. So, let’s look into the differences between civil cases and criminal cases.
