MURDER
OF SHAD THYRION (GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN, USA)
Context
In
February 2022, 24-year-old Shad Thyrion was killed and
dismembered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The perpetrator was Taylor Schabusiness,
a woman who had been in a personal relationship with Thyrion. The case drew
strong attention due to its brutality and the unusual circumstances surrounding
the crime.
Police Investigation
Police
were alerted to the situation after Thyrion’s mother discovered his severed
head in a bucket in her basement on February 23, 2022. Officers
subsequently found other body parts — including the torso — hidden in storage
containers elsewhere in the residence.
Upon
investigating the scene, law enforcement interviewed Schabusiness and collected
evidence pointing to her involvement. Schabusiness eventually admitted to
strangling Thyrion to death during sexual activity while they were under

strangling him.
